The regional Odyssey of the Mind tournament will be held on Saturday, February 28th at Charles S. Rushe Middle School. Odyssey of the Mind is the largest worldwide creative problem-solving competition for children. Team members each get to showcase their creative flair and unique abilities and build upon everyone’s ideas to enhance their solutions. Odyssey encourages participation and innovative thinking and the team environment gives everyone a chance to have his or her ideas heard. Problem solutions range from building working vehicles and inventive structures to live performances, written and acted by teams, which present creative solutions. We have one team working on a “Silent Movie” problem and another working on “Pandora’s Box”. Please wish our two teams luck as they match wits and imaginations as they represent Chasco Middle School!
